Deleting your data

In your account settings, open Platforms and disconnect the one you want to stop. This takes effect immediately: our authorisation is revoked at the source and we cannot read anything further from it, including data we would otherwise have collected tomorrow.

Data already collected from that platform stays while your subscription is active, because your previous reports were built on it. If you want it gone sooner, use the request below.

You can also revoke our access from the platform’s own settings — for Meta, under Business Integrations in your Facebook settings. That works, and we honour it, but telling us as well means we can clean up the stored data at the same time.

You do not have to ask. When a subscription ends we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back or export what you need, and then we delete it. That window exists because a brand who cancels in January and returns in March should not lose their history to a policy nobody told them about.

If you would rather it went immediately, ask — and if you would rather it stayed longer, that needs an agreement in writing rather than an inbox request.

Email support@getincremental.ai from the address on your account with the word delete and your brand name. You do not need to explain why, you do not need to close your account first, and there is no charge.

If you cannot reach the account email address any more, write from any address and we will verify you another way before we act — deleting a brand’s history on the word of an unverified stranger would be its own kind of security failure.

Every platform record we hold for your brand: advertising performance and spend, analytics and search data, your Shopify order history, affiliate transactions, and the pseudonymous customer identifiers attached to them. Your account details, your teammates, your onboarding answers, and every report we have produced for you.

Also the calibration store — the record of how your own past estimates performed, which is what makes each month sharper than the last. It is built only from your data, so it goes with your data. Deleting is not reversible and we cannot rebuild it afterwards.

Invoices and payment records. Tax law requires us to keep them, and they contain what you paid us, not anything about your customers or your advertising.

Backups persist for up to 30 further days before they age out on their normal schedule. They are encrypted, they are not queryable, and nothing is restored from them into the live service after a deletion.

We complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request, and in practice much sooner. We email you to confirm when it is done, so you are never left assuming.
